Known mostly for the recent Flintstones Pack, one of Nike’s newest sneaks, the Big Nike, makes a splash for the summer with a release paying homage to the now iconic Lil’ Dez of the 2009 NBA Playoffs Nike Campaign. The Lil’ Dez character is recognized for being Lebron James’ and Kobe Bryant’s nagging little puppet neighbor in Nike’s Most Valuable Puppets commercials this past Spring. The Big Nike kicks not only gives shine to Lil’ Dez but also to the puppet whose team actually did win the battle of the 2009 NBA Playoffs and title run, Kobe Bryant and his LA Lakers.
These fresh sneakers feature a red tonal upper equipped with a picture of Lil’ Dez on the tongue, “Congrats Kobe” written alongside the ankle, and “MVP”/”24″ behind the tongue. Along with a matching shirt that can be copped as well, The Big Nike “Lil’ Dez” look to hit select quickstrike Nike accounts real soon! More detailed photos available after the jump. Props to SoleCollector.
