Although we were granted a pinch of new music from John Legend–in the form of his throwback project with the Roots–the GOOD Music crooner has been on a hiatus of sorts since his last studio LP, the 2008′s Evolver. Nonetheless, the 33 year old singer hasn’t been quiet in the headlines, as he just got engaged to his supermodel-girlfriend Chrissy Teigen over the holidays. So as he anxiously waits to walk that aisle into marital bliss, Mr. Legend was gracious enough to offer his fans something new to fill their R&B players. This lush-smooth song, which is titled “Tonight (Best You Ever Had)” will appear on the soundtrack to Steve Harvey’s testosterone bashing film “Think Like A Man“, as well as serve as lead single to his forthcoming yet untitled album. Mr. Lover adds a quickie verse for good measure. The cut will go on sale, and be available on iTunes next week: January 31st.
