Welcome to the world that this 20 year old frenchman, Valentin Morelle, calls home. Trapped between the dark twisted beats and robotic pulsating rhythms is an incredibly talented individual. In his short time producing he has hand crafted some of the most innovative remixes from ZZT’s “Party’s Over Los Angeles” to Gesaffelstein’s “Control Movement” and Kavinsky’s “Roadgame” but it was his remix of Justice’s “Audio Video Disco” that caught the ears of BBC Radio 1 host Kissy Sell Out and the rest was history.
His remix of “Binary” was chosen by Etienne de Crécy to be featured on his Binary Remixes Compilation. While his remix of “Cosmonaut” by French Stereo was in the top 25 of Worldwide Juno’s Charts. Not only has his remixes gain mad attention but his original productions like “Chic Chicks” reached top 100 on the WorldWide Beatport Charts.
Gaining support from Etienne de Crécy, Don Rimini, Electric Soulside, Elektropusher, Roby Howler, Waxdolls, Paul Henta, K12, Modek, Wasabi, QG, The Rox, Greg Kozo and playing on stage with Toxic Avenger, Dead Cat Bounce, Miss Ill at festivals like Chez Moune (Paris) La Java, L’Envers CLub(Nancy), Le Rafiot (Strasbourg), Le Grillen (Colmar), and La Poudrière (Belfort) ValyMo is set to have an incredible 2012.
ValyMo is now preparing a follow up to his Bogotà Dogs EP with a new extended play for 2012, and a gang of new remixes are in the works. Stay tuned as this rising star takes over with his relentless work and a possible tour that will take him across all of France.
