Chicago has been abuzz with talks of Chance and his debut project “#10Day” which is finally available for free download! We’ve had the opportunity to preview the tape for about the last week or so so hit the jump to check out Reg Young’s thoughts on the project as well as for the tracklist and download link!
You can’t help but get drawn in to Chance’s addictive sing-songy flow mixed with that raspy drawl. Kicking off the tape with the DJ SuchNSuch crafted “14,400 Minutes,” Chance doesn’t compromise his style once as he explains, among other things, why he was suspended from school! The weed anthem “Windows” is a standout from a flow standpoint, as Chance and guest Alex Wiley go in over the 80s flavored beat. “U Got Me Fucked Up” is another great track, as he gives listeners a warning not to be “fucking with his money.” “Family” featuring Vic Mensa and Sulaiman deserves to get some tick on the airwaves. “Juke Juke” updates the Isley Brothers’ “Between the Sheets” and has Chance bouncing all over the track. “Prom Night “ is a dope track where Chance, who missed his own prom to spin, goes in with heartfelt verses chronicling his journey so far.
