Last Friday night the Canadian-based duo Adventure Club made their way to Chicago for what I believe is their first show in the Windy City. They were joined by openers DJ Solo and M Machine but apparently there was a little snafu with the M. We previously M Machine open up for Paper Diamond a month or two ago and it was a duo, however, at The Mid we were given only one member of the Machine. After we asked why one of them was missing the had this to say: “technically there were TWO missing…” – There you have it folks.
Regardless, The Mid was packed with a crowd that I would say isn’t the norm and the IMF crew was enjoying every second of it. Everywhere you turned someone was rocking a spirit hood, dreaded guys were enjoying the fine taste of PBR and everyone was enjoying the amazing dub courtesy of Adventure Club. I would love to see more crowds and nights like this at The Mid personally, and I’m sure we will. Adventure Club is slowly starting to take over the EDM scene and mark my words, they will be big players before you know it. Enough rambling, check out the photo-goodness after the jump.
