This year in Chicago there will be a projected 25,000+ violent crimes committed. In order to help combat this problem, IMF Magazine is proud to work alongside AG Public Relations, Hustlepalooza & Beating The Pavement Productions in order to help bring attention to a very serious problem in our communities. Our city is easily one of the most violent in the country, and our youth are unfortunately surrounded by the bulk of it daily. In order to help raise awareness of an issue in need of so much attention, we bring this project to Chicago Public Schools, and directly to the youth. The latest day in the series will take place Wednesday, May 2nd, as we visit Marshall High School.
The project is a fusion of talents from Major artists, Professional Athletes, Industry Professionals, Politicians, Community Activists, and other influencers.
Committed to educating and mentoring youth, a high-profile panel of athletes, artists, and community leaders will visit with Chicago Public School students of Marshall High School. Hustle Simmons (Marketing & Branding expert/Hustlepalooza curator), Dasan Robinson (’12 MLS Champion), Malik Yusef (Grammy Award winner), Alonzo Jackson(Fashion Geek), Tone & Shagg (Power 92.3), and Earl Bennett (NFL-Chicago Bears) will spend time sharing testimonies with the youth as well as offering advice on choosing peaceful conflict-resolution methods.
HUSTLEPALOOZA: Increase the Peace Day is a long-term outreach commitment by AG-Public Relations and Beating The Pavement Productions. The next scheduled date is May 21, 2012 where a new panel of celebrities and influencers will visit Chicago Public Schools: Frazier Elementary and Ruiz Elementary.
Special thanks to Angie Grozdic & Hustle Simmons for allowing IMF to be a part of such an amazing cause!
