Live Nation has purchased Cream Holdings, the British company behind the European festival, Creamfields. Along with this announcement on Wednesday morning, Live Nation also said that James Barton, Cream’s founder, will become the president of its Live Nation Electronic Music division. This is a true testament of how important electronic dance music is to the concert industry.
