While it recently confirmed that the late Jimi Hendrix’s estate did not approve of incorporating the original recordings into his upcoming biopic “All Is By My Side,” (directed by John Ridley) all things are a go from a production standpoint, as on-set flicks have surfaced of Andre 3000 in full-on costume mode as the psychedelic one. With additional make-up [touch-ups] plastered on his face to fit the part as Jimi, Andre sports the rock-star’s infamous locks and, in all seriousness, he bears a striking resemblance to Mr. Hendrix.
