LA-based glitch producer Cryptex is something of a mystery to me. Devoid of any live performances, at least to my knowledge, this 20 year-old producer consistently puts out some of the most intricately produced and heavy-hitting glitch-hop tracks I’ve heard. With his Soundcloud portfolio comprised of half ‘reglitches’ and half original material, Cryptex has been building up a solid fan base across the country. If he would only take the stage somewhere, it would undoubtedly increase ten fold. For now, we’ll just have to settle for these releases. Check his latest reglitch, ‘Beat Em Up’ by MC2.
