Out today on Fools Gold Records is the Dillon Francis & A-Trak collaborative record “Money Makin”. To compliment the release, the duo drops off the visuals for the single and its packed heavy with features from fellow Fools Gold representatives. Who do you spy with your little eyes? It’s a super fun record and the eye candy is super fresh. Pick up your copy at a digital store front near you. (iTunes)

Yet another example why you need to pick up the USA Club Mixes from Surkin. This time we get Trizzzy’s remix of “Never Let Go” featuring Kevin Irving. If this doesn’t get you dancing or wishing it was the weekend then I don’t know what will. Classic A-Trak vibes and hard hitting beats make this remix one of my favorites from the man. Pick this up along with the full release here.
Check out the latest visuals from Converse’s “Three Artists, One Song” project. This time around they brought together A-Trak of Fools Gold fame, Mark Foster of Foster The People and Kimbra, who you might know from the incredible feature she did on Gotye’s latest single “Somebody That I Used To Know”. Directed by Daniels, “Warrior” launches you into the world of the Luchadores and takes no prisoners. Who knew Trizzy, Foster, and Kimbra were such bad asses!

Martin Solveig gets a huge remix from A-Trak on the track “The Night Out”. Ripped from A-Traks podcast “The Night Out” is a indie-dance-hipsters’ dream come true, and I can’t get it out of my head. From the first listen you’ll be hooked and dancing around the crib like a fool, just waiting for the weekend to come. Press play and indulge your soul.

The anticipation for Myhem at the Mid this week was at its highest since Montreal’s finest export Alain Macklovitch better known as A-Trak, Trizzy, one half of Duck Sauce, one half of the Brothers Macklovitch and Fool’s Gold Co-founder would be making his second stop on “The Great North American Club Crawl” for a little ole fashioned party rocking.
With the drink specials flowing, the mayhem ensued as Dj Trentino with his unorthodox signature style took over. As the night went on the crowd started to build up and GunLove hit the stage to get everybody hyped for the main event. As his set rocked the sea of people pouring in to The Mid, a push of people eagerly itching to get as close to center stage as they could to catch a glimpse of the legendary DJ & champion turntablist A-Trak. Hit the jump to read more and check out some photos of A-Trak courtesy of React.

There is no stopping A-Trak as he jumps on the remix of the Laidback Luke & Sander Van Doorn record “Who’s Wearing The Cap”. Wild baselines and hard hitting synth work make this the perfect party jam. Of course there was no question as to who was wearing the hat, but just in case you forgot, Trizzy wanted to remind you all.

I realize it’s only Tuesday, but it never hurts to get an early jump on weekend plans. This Friday, The Mid and React Presents bring you A-Trak, Gun Love, Phenom, and DJ Trentino for a little Mayhem at the Mid. We’re pretty sure this is going to sell out so we highly suggest grabbing your tickets beforehand because you don’t want to get stuck doing something lame because your ass procrastinated. I’ve seen it happen all too often. Grab your tickets and we’ll see everyone on Friday night!
