Generally known for their more over-the-top, bulky wrist-pieces, perennial watchmakers Nixon are releasing a much deserved capsule collection dedicated to the current comeback kings, the Beastie Boys. Yeah, if you hadn’t heard, the Boys just released their latest album Hot Sauce Committee Part 2, which I do suggest you check out. The collection features the brand’s Time Teller P model, optioned in red, white, green or blue, each donning the illustrious Mike D’s mug front and center. Retailing for a slightly steep $180, these should definitely be looked at more along the lines of a collector’s item than actual fashion statement.

Becoming well-known for their subtle knack in coming up with solid New Era make-ups, P-Rod’s Primitive is poised to let loose of a gang of fitteds for their fall collection. Nothing too crazy here, just good color combos and minimal branding which we’ve come to expect from the Cali brand. Definitely liking the fact that they’re not all over the place with the designs. Remember folks, less is more. Be on the lookout for the line-up to hit Primitive in the upcoming weeks. Hit the jump to view the collection.

Herschel Supply Co. just dropped their latest collection of bags to coincide with the Summer season and the drop includes a new Novel Duffle and the Little America and Hertiage backpacks. Each model comes in a black colorway with leather accents and an added navy colorway for the Heritage bag. I’m a big fan of these bags because of their simplicity and the fact that they’re still stylish. Pick one of from your local Herschel retailer after you check out a few images under the cut.

Last month, onn Friday April 8th, G-Shock & Krink celebrated their recent partnership with a unique exhibition of Craig Costello’s work, “Spray Paint the Walls”.

The signature Krink G-Shock watch, the DW6900KR-8, was on display alongside Costello’s artwork, an abstraction inspired by his history of working with urban environments and architecture. Costello sprayed gallons of paint onto the walls filling the white space with bold color from the ceiling to the floor, the diluted-paint dripping down in vertical lines forming a pattern. The color and shapes have an organic feel that contrast with the hard lines and shapes of the urban environment. Other walls featured small framed monochrome drawings created using Krink on paper and displayed a vibrant range of color. For the private event held in downtown NYC, Brooklyn based duo CREEP and Nina Sky entertained an influential downtown crowd of artists and designers. Art, music, and drinks. Good Times!

Iconic eye-wear brand Ray-Ban recently put together this crafty set of visuals in order to highlight their latest drop of shades. With an undeniably dope concept and equally fresh gang of glasses, were only left with one thing — do you have Ray-Ban vision? Pretty legit water-gun throw down, if you ask me. Had people popping out of the wood-work.

Fully aware and in agreeance that due to the current state of over-saturation from Casio’s G-Shock, well, the models have become pretty much played out. However, that doesn’t determine my opinion on a product when I do come across something new and dope, such as this collabo between A Bathing Ape and the aforementioned timepiece company. Look for this smooth DW-5600, decked out in color camo and BAPE’s signature print atop the face, to hit the brand’s accounts later this spring. Hit the jump for another look.
