adidas Consortium x Hanon CNTR (Video)

Now available exclusively at Hanon.

This January we are proud to present a brand new project with adidas Originals. Our latest collaboration focuses on the adidas Centaur – an archive running shoe brought back for the first time since its inception in 1984. For this release we pay tribute to our hometown of Aberdeen – The Granite City! Both the colourway and material application are inspired by our surroundings which were historically built from locally quarried granite. Executed in suede, mesh and nubuck, the grey upper of the Centaur depicts the seasonal change of Aberdeen’s granite landscape. A limited edition dust bag will be released with a number of pairs of the shoe and 50 pcs of a special edition ‘granite’ tshirt will accompany the shoe for the in-store launch only. – Hanon Shop

Hanon x Adidas Consortium CNTR

Adidas has teamed up with Scotland-based Hanon for a new rendition of the Centaur sneaker. As it was first released in 1984, the sneaker now features a suede, mesh and nubuck upper in grey with appropriate red accents. A limited edition dust bad will be released with a number of pairs of the shoe and 50 pieces of a special edition ‘granite’ shirt will accompany for the in-store launch. They are due to be available online January 26th and onward.

The three striped shoe has never looked so good. Offered in black/white and gum/white colorways, features suede uppers with a gum vulcanized rubber outsole for all you skaters. They’re clean, simple and have a sense of both new and classic Adidas realms. Now available online at Atlas.

Adidas D.Rose 3 “NIGHTMARE”

If you are a fan of Derrick Rose as most of us Chicagoan’s are, it pains you to watch the bulls without their star player. Even though we wont be able to see the “nightmare” that is D-Rose on the court until March (fingers crossed). We can still be captivated by his ever growing pop culture presence with the release of his newest sneaker the D. Rose 3 “NIGHTMARE” edition. They will be released just in time for your Christmas list hitting stores on 12/24/12.

Adidas x WoodWood “FCK 3RD Jersey Project” (Video)

Awesome video documenting behind-the-scenes and Oskar’s designing realm during the creation of this special jersey. Creative Director and Designer at WoodWood, Karl Oskar has been chosen in collaboration with Adidas to design the third jersey for the local Copenhagen football team, FCK.

Adidas Consortium Spring/Summer 2012 “Your Story” Collection (Video)

Back in May, adidas announced it would be launching a unique Consortium collection, centered around providing artist collaborators with blank shoes (a ‘tabula rosa’ of sorts) on which to design and inscribe their favorite Olympic memories. This video for the second drop for the project features another broad range of artistic and creative backgrounds, starting with the adidas Matchplay re-imagined by Viktor Tell, the Decade Hi by Stefan Glerum, the Pro Shell by Kara Messina, the ZX 500 by Shaniqwa Jarvis, and the BC-MMXII by adidas Originals themselves.
