Ghostface is getting ready to release his latest studio album Apollo Kids on December 14th and above is the artwork. To be honest, I had no idea Ghost was even preparing another studio release and it feels like just last month he released Ghostdini: Wizard of Poetry. It seems like these days labels are all about rushing albums out. What ever happened to taking time to perfect the album then building up it’s release? Hit the jump to check out the tracklist.
It’s crazy to think that a few years ago Alchemist and Oh No announced they would be doing a collaboration project under the name Gangrene and here we are a few years later with an official release. I’m pretty sure the album is going to be ridiculous. I’ve been needing some new Alchemist material in my life and judging from what I’ve heard thus far, it’s going to be pretty sick. On a side note, speaking of sick, that album cover is crazy. A little off if you ask me, but it does fit the title. Gutter Water drops on November 23rd.
#3 of 5 covers that Kanye says will be included with the album. I can see this on Wal-Mart shelves. Artwork by George Condo.
Curren$y has been steady grinding in the studio to finish up his next project Pilot Talk II and today we get to check out the artwork courtesy of NahRight. If you saw the artwork for Pilot Talk then you should be able to tell the style of both look the same – this is due to the fact they were both done by artist David Barnett. I really dig the work he’s done on both covers. Very unique concept that incorporates Curren$y’s favorite thing in the whole world, weed. Pickup the album on November 22nd.
Take a look at the artwork for Ross’ upcoming album Teflon Don. Simple, clean and to the point. I’m sure Ricky knows what his album cover looks like unlike Juvenile. Then again I could be wrong considering the current state of record labels these days.
This is the official cover for Diddy/Dirty Money’s upcoming album Last Train To Paris which hits stores on June 28th. It will feature appearances from T.I., Jay-Z, Drake, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and more. Interesting cover from Diddy to say the least. Shouts to Rap-Up.
