Curtis had originally planned to make this album his fifth, but what we assume as ongoing label politics, he offers this project up as a free LP, and has switched the title for his official LP to Street King Immortal — which is destined to find its way into racks this Fall — rumored for sometime in November. American Alien is the follow-up to last year’s In Love With My Future, this project features 11 fresh cuts from the buzzmaking emcee, including “Window Cracked.” Joining GhostWridah throughout American Alien are Paul Wall, Carlyle Anderson, Billy Blue, Jase, Freeway, Mann, Shonie and The Strangerz. In addition to the production of Lowkey (who executive produces the set along with GhostWridah himself), the project features instrumentals by Slot-A, Phoenix, Rem, DJ Corbett and Oktober 1st.
