Andre 3000 delivers yet another impressive guest feature as he lends his assistance to T.I.’s latest single! Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head hits shelves December 18th.

A mere sixteen bars wasn’t simply enough for Ricky and 3 Stacks, so the pair decided to do the unthinkable and rhyme for days…better yet for 8 minutes over some laid-back J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League production. This is off that God Forgives, I Don’t due July 31st. I wonder what’s the consensus on Rozay’s latest album, well, for those who’ve heard the leak thus far?

While it recently confirmed that the late Jimi Hendrix’s estate did not approve of incorporating the original recordings into his upcoming biopic “All Is By My Side,” (directed by John Ridley) all things are a go from a production standpoint, as on-set flicks have surfaced of Andre 3000 in full-on costume mode as the psychedelic one. With additional make-up [touch-ups] plastered on his face to fit the part as Jimi, Andre sports the rock-star’s infamous locks and, in all seriousness, he bears a striking resemblance to Mr. Hendrix. Don’t fret – get a peek at his final look below. Six more pics for your viewing pleasure.

In the past few years Andre 3000 had remained quite noiseless within the music and cinematic forefront while his Outkast compadre Big Boi effortlessly filled the void of their loyal fans by dropping his solo record. Fast forward to the present, now we start to hear 3Stacks on a Ke$ha single, a Young Jeezy single, a Lloyd feature, and now an appearance in a new Gillette ad. What does it all mean for ya’ll Outkast enthusiasts? Well, 3Stacks talked with GQ on array of topics, from everything to his heavily anticipated solo album, the much talked pending Kast project, his clothing line, Drake quoting him and, of course, that Gillette commercial starring him. Check out a few xcerpts below and the full link under:
GQ: So does that mean we can expect to hear the album we’ve all be waiting on?
Andre 3000: It depends on which album you’re talking about.GQ: A new ‘Kast album!
Andre 3000: There’s been a lot of talk on the Internet about an OutKast album and I have to say that as of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album. There’s a lot of music on the horizon. I’ve been living off the excitement of new artists. I’ve been privileged to have these new artists kind of reach out and grab back and say, “Hey, Andre, we want you on this song.” So I’ve been taking those calls and for the last two years, I’ve been doing collaborations. So these new artists have kind of been keeping me alive. I’ve just really been feeding off of that and this year I think I’m planning to do a solo project. I don’t know when it will come out, but hopefully it’ll come out this year. As far as OutKast, I really don’t know if or when that will happen.GQ: What’s the new solo album going to be like?
Andre 3000: The only thing I can really say is I’m going to get back to having fun because that’s what it was all about when I started this in high school—with OutKast—those were like high school dreams. I’m 36 now, so I have grown-man dreams. This album will just be me being myself as normal.

Converse teamed up with the Gorillaz and they brought a long two incredible artists to bless us with “DoYoThing”. How could you go wrong with the now defunct LCD Soundsystem’s lead man James Murphy and OutKast’s eccentric Andre 3000? Well there is no worries cause “DoYaThing” is an awesome mixed bag of soulful funk, rhyme and reason, and of course that signature feel good vibe. Enough of the words and press play. Stay tuned for the accompanying music video to debut by the end of February.

If you were tired of hearing Ye sounding like a censored MTV concert, here goes the dirty version everyone and every club has been waiting for.

On October 1st a special version of Chris Brown and Tyga’s joint “Deuces” dropped along with several guest appearances which included Drake, T.I., Kanye west, Fabolous, Rick Ross and the infamous Andre 3000. On numerous occasions Drake has mentioned how he’s wanted to do a collaboration track with Andre so XXL caught up with him to see if he may have fulfilled his ambitions.
“It was cool,” he said of appearing on the cut with his idol. “I love the remix and stuff, but when I say I wanna work with him I really wanna pull him into my world or go into his world or do something where it’s a song that I’ve created from the ground up, where he raps and, hopefully, I could sort of shape the direction of the song a bit more. For me, ‘Deuces’ was cool and all and obviously being on a song with him for the first time was amazing but it doesn’t satisfy my urge to work with him,” he continued. “That’s still very much alive and I really wanna work with him on something that’s my own.”
There you have it. No official collaboration between the two but who knows, maybe down the road. I wonder how Andre 3000 feels about all this.
