We had the opportunity to sit down with dubstep’s Ambassador 12th Planet before his show at Bottom Lounge Chicago. He tells us about the feedback he’s received on his ‘End Is Near’ EP, a remix he’s working on for Porter Robinson, and new material he’s working on! If you haven’t downloaded his latest project, head over here to do it.
This year marks the 104th edition of the world famous Chicago Auto Show. The ten day event just wrapped up and we were there to give you an inside look at some of the hottest new rides showcased at the nation’s largest and longest running car show. This year’s most notable standouts were the Ford Shelby GT500, Lexus LF-LC, and for you green-minded individuals, the Chevrolet Volt. Take a look.
We were in Indianapolis during Super Bowl weekend and had the opportunity to shoot at Playboy’s 2012 Leather & Lace event. It featured appearances from ‘The Girls Next Door’, also known as Kendra Wilkinson, Holly Madison, and Bridget Marquardt. Guests were greeted by beautiful girls, great music, and a lot of “interesting” costumed people running around. Shot and edited by @zwalkk with music courtesy of Drake. Enjoy the eye candy.

Yesterday around the beginning of the Grammy Awards, myself (Jahrue) got the pleasure to be in the studio with Skateboard P and young ASAP. Trying to be discrete about what went on during the session, just know that Rocky was blessed with few joints and a verse.
Click the photos to view them in it’s full size that were taken by Jahrue. Video recap coming soon, also in related news IMFmag will be releasing unreleased content of your favorite artists this week to start a new series.

Last weekend we made our way to Indianapolis for Super Bowl Weekend and one of the parties we had the opportunity of attending was the 2012 Leather & Lace event from Playboy. It was held on both Friday and Saturday, with each night a different set of hosts. Friday attendees were graced with the presence of Jenny McCarthy, Carmen Electra, and JWoww from Jersey Shore. We were busy on Friday with another event so we went Saturday and caught up with Hugh Hefner’s girls next door: Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson, and Bridget Marquardt.
After the jump you can check out a few photos we managed to snap during the evening, but that’s not all – we shot a video as well. We simply wanted to give you a little taste of what you can expect to see on IMF next week. Enjoy the eye candy and be sure to stop back next week to catch a video of all the debauchery.
Paper Diamond shut down Chicago a few weeks ago with a sold out show and an amazing performance. We sat down with the man previously known as Alex B to get the low down on how the Winter Tour had been going, his broad range of music styles, the status of his upcoming EP Paragon, and where he stops while he’s in Chicago. Produced by @zwalkk, interview by @DJSchnellE, with additional footage from @Andre_Velez.
Sound Tribe Sector 9 (STS9) unleashed their Great Cycle Spectacles on Chicago’s Congress Theater on January 20th and 21st. Chicago is only the second city to receive this treatment after the band debuted the performances in Denver the weekend prior. When the shows were announced one had to wonder how they were going to be any different from the usual melodic delirium of an STS9 show. To step it up a notch the performances were presented as a time capsule sent off into space as “a present from a small distant world. A token of; our sounds, our science, our images, our music, our thoughts & our feelings.” The presentation was complete with a Mayan pyramid shaped LED rig displaying ancient symbols, views of earth and space, and various other psychedelic images. The band has always carried an air of mysticism, but they stepped it up a notch.
