With an album release date being currently reworked for Shad’s stalled Underrated album, the Ohio spitter talks about his latest [first] single “We In Da Club,” which according to him is a return to his Left Coast roots, and then he also thanks fans for making the visual for “Better” number one on BET’s 106 & Park. Under this, check out his last few clips of his web series, one featuring Wiz and Snoop, and another with his long-time homie, Omarion.
Bow Wow is certainly no stranger to the overseas life, and in this latest clip from his Underrated tour series, he added an extra stamp to his passport as he flew down to my native lands of Ghana, where the pint-sized rapper was treated like royalty before taking over the stage later that night for a show. Akwaaba Bow Wizzle (it means welcome to Bow in Ghana’s native language of Twi.) Underrated is rumored to arrive in stores on June 12th.
In an attempt to kill two birds with one
stone post, here are the latest visuals to come forth from the YMCMB camp — as the first clip is a video for Bow Wow’s “Better” single with T-Pain — while the second one serves as another for Baby and Ross’ cocky ‘Born Stunna” collaboration (directed by Derick G). Hit the jump to check out the latter portion of videos.
On episode 19 of Bow Wizzle’s Underrated vlog series, the Ohio native takes fans behind the scenes in the lab where he politics with Gunplay about grown-man sh*t such as weed and liquor (smh at the censors, though), stops by the YMCMB family’s MTV Sucker Free Interview, shoots for an Urban Ink mag feature, and chops it up with Lloyd Banks and Juelz Santana before hitting the clubs in the Big Apple. Additional cameos by Knickerbockers J.R. Smith and Jermaine Dupri, who was spinning on the ones and twos, and it also includes footage of Bow phoning calls to Clyde Carson and Lil Wayne.
For episode 18 of Bow’s Underrated vlog series, the YMCMB rapper takes us BTS of his upcoming video “Better” — the second single from his Underrated LP (June 12th) featuring T-Pain. Below, peep a look at the making of the song, as well as stream the MP3 itself.
You know the cliche saying, “you can’t keep a good man down?” Well, in this case, Shad Moss, known to the world as Bow Wow, will attempt to show the world he is more than capable of letting off a few rounds of piff on his long delayed album Underrated. Muzzled with a underrated tag on the artwork, the Ohio Native, who is often associated with only radio-friendly singles, looks to shed his teeny-bopper image and go hard on the lyricism tip come this June 12th when the LP hits the racks. Will the overlooked one prevail? who really knows. And although a tracklist was revealed a couple of months, which is subject to change, the forthcoming set is expected to feature guest spots from Talib Kweli, Ace Hood, Wiz Khalifa, Miguel, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Musiq Soulchild, Juicy J, and many others. Premiered and spotted over at Sermon’s Domain. Pre-order copies right here.
Ever since Shad Moss hit the big 2-1 some years back, he’s been, umm, drinkin’ too much. And since the release of a Greenlight 4 single named after the latter, he hasn’t seem to put the cups down just yet, as today he drops off his very own rendition of H-Town rep Kirko Bangz’s tippy banger.
During a recent trip across the pond, Bow Wow stopped by old man Westwood’s spot to politic about his oft-delayed Cash Money debut album Underrated, his upcoming single with Miguel, which he promises will be a smash, his various European tour stops, fatherhood, if there’s any potential wifeys, rumors of Chris Brown and Rihanna rekindling their relationship, their remixes, his riff with Sony/Columbia Records, how joining the Cash Money/ YMCMB crew has paid off, rappers who rock fake kicks/snapbacks, and much more.
