G Jones (formerly known as Grizzly J) released a 20-track set of his latest work from 2012. With an almost bass-inducted hypnotic sound that dabbles in and out of glitch, dub, and pop tracks this experimental producer out of Santa Cruz is primarily known in the underground scene. Thanks to the more chill west-coast bass production style becoming more popular a la MiM0SA and Stephan Jacobs, this probably won’t be true for long.
Listeners looking for a more laid back alternative to dub whose bass still permeates throughout the tracks will definitely dig this.
