For the past few weeks, Onika’s been heavily scrutinized for her performance debacle at the 54th annual Grammy Awards, and she didn’t precisely make matters any better when she opted to go left field with the release of the newest Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded pop-esque single, “Starships,” which saw an official release last week — and to sub-par reviews. Amidst the flack she’s since then received, in attempts to keep her Hip Hop and urban fans completely satisfied, she drops the title track off the forthcoming project, featuring a guest verse from Lil Tunechi. Also, earlier in the night, she phoned Funk Flex to touch on the critics reception to the bashed performance, the naysayers who believe she’s sorta selling out, the new single, how it’s more of a street cut, a little bit of the LP, and more.
After being rewarded plaques by Cortez Bryant at the YMCMB/Cash Money Grammy party, which was proceeded by a performance with Drake, Lil Wayne announced that there’s another addition to the ever-growing Young Money roster: Christina Milian. After being awarded with a preview to the real deal, Lil Wayne and Bruno Mars drop off the full delivery to their video for “Mirror.” The collaborative cut comes from Weezy’s most recent album Tha Carter IV, which he has somewhat surprisingly steered away from shooting hardly any visuals for. Nonetheless, enjoy the aesthetics above.

I can’t front, I’m glad to see that Darkman X has his sh*t together for now. He seems hungry as ever, and most importantly looking sober. Lil Wayne did the honor of bringing out X at a New Year’s Eve party at Liv Nightclub where he played a couple of joints from his extensive catalog. Here’s the footage above, plus some additional news of his new LP, here.
