There’s much hoopla related to this particular mix, and as of yesterday, along with a version with Rye Rye – both have made its’ way onto the blogosphere – with this one produced by N.A.R.S and also featuring a couple of verses from the bipolar Azealia Banks and Missy Elliott, who’s doing her best to come out of her extremely long seclusion. Stream it below and purchase the other mix here — which, by the way was released exclusively on a USB Necklace.

On paper this has to be the most unlikely collaboration, to say the least. It doesn’t stray away from what Madge’s fans have been fed over the umpteen years or so, but with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. thrown in the full=mix pop throttle, I’m on the fence about…Onika’s most recent guest features, or more less her quality of music within the past few months. That album Hard Candy, whether you like it or not, was a well rounded urban-esque album. Madge’s upcoming LP MDNA, however, may not be my cup of tea. Hit the jump for a quick look at the album cover for MDNA, which is expected to hit shelves everywhere on March 26th. Also, look out for her during the Superbowl Halftime show this coming weekend.

Earlier this week we brought you M.I.A.’s latest Danja produced single “Bad Girls” and we told you to be on the look out for M.I.A. to team up again with Romain Gavras for the visual treatment. Well check one of the fly-est videos of 2012 and probably the dope-est videos I’ve seen in a long time. At first I was 50/50 on this song, but this video totally flipped it. Now my chain hits the dash when I bump this in the ride. North African swag in full effect. M.I.A. and her World Town crew hit up Morocco to give the world a glimpse at why bad girls doing it well. AHH SOOKIE SOOKIE!

Rye Rye and M.I.A., two artists who you may get mixed up every now and then because they have a very similar sound in my opinion. “Sunshine” is the first single off of her debut studio album Go! Pop! Bang!, dropping February 11th on N.E.E.T/Interscope Records. M.I.A sings the hook and Jess Holzworth directs.

DAILY 09/08

It’s been a big year for M.I.A.: She released her third album MAYA this July; signed Sleigh Bells to her N.E.E.T. Records label; released videos for both “Born Free” and “XXXO,” blitzed The Late Show with David Letterman where “she hit with a vengeance, taking the stage with Martin Rev of Suicide and her own gang of Slim Shady’s basically telling the haters to get fucked”; hit number one Radio 1; and hit the UK festival circuit with a vengeance. M.I.A. returns to the states for a national tour, beginning with the headlining slot at the V-Fest Saturday, September 25, in Washington D.C. with Rye Rye who is the first artist signed to M.I.A.’s N.E.E.T. label. She’s also set to release her debut album Go! Pop! Bang! in early 2011. After the jump you can check out her current tour dates and stay tuned because there’s more to follow.

First off, let me fully disclose this is not the remix featuring HOV. Sorry hip-hop only heads. Let’s be brave and give something new a try though. With that being said, we have a much less controversial video from M.I.A. than growingly accustomed to these days. As you probably would expect, the concept is some what odd and even fairly low budget, but hey, she always makes it work. Now get away from those computers and enjoy a face to face.
