Grammy-winning beatsmith Omen has come together with The DJBooth to bring listeners his long-awaited studio album, Black Hero Theme Musik. A collective, collaborative project inspired by the soul sounds of the 1970s, the set features 17 original records from the producer and his EMO (Elaborate Musik Orchestra) team. Included are previously-featured records “Homecoming,” “Black Hero Overture,” “Everlasting,” “Luv Me Tomorrow,” “I Made You (First Class),” “Applause,” “Get Back” and “Negro Spiritual.” Offering vocal support throughout the project are Teedra Moses, Diggy Simmons, Mickey Factz, Smoke DZA, Ashton Travis, Pill and many more. All beats come courtesy of Omen and EMO.-DJBooth.net
One of the more sought after records heard during Mr. North Carolina’s intimate Ustream a few weeks back, now awarded in CDQ quality, not only features a triple threat collabo, but also accounts for another nicely layed down production job by Cole himself. I honestly cannot attest for you folks that stubbornly continue to give Drizzy leaps and bounds more headway above the kid. Lyrical laser, just listen.
Omen who was the only feature on J. Cole’s The Warm Up drops a video to his own track titled Terminal O. Judging from his verse from The Badness and the sampler he put out earlier, I can say I like his work.
This was the only artist that was featured on J. Cole’s The Warm Up on the track titled The Badness which was a favorite of mine. Now with his own project here comes his teaser/sampler to his upcoming mixtape Afraid of Heights. Production off the project comes from Omen himself and Elite, via h.e.r.
