R&B lover-man Tank recently released the remix to his newest cut “Compliments,” and has already went ahead and shot an accompanying visual for the T.I. and Kris Stephens assisted single. Here’s a few flicks taken from the video set, and for which will appear on the singer’s upcoming album How I Feel, due out on May 8th. More after the cut.
Black Scale takes us into the midst of the chaos for ASAP and Q’s collab, providing us some nicely shot behind the scenes flicks from the video shoot, which was shot in Los Angeles, and for which the video will be also on its’ way soon. Last weekend we made our way to Indianapolis for Super Bowl Weekend and one of the parties we had the opportunity of attending was the 2012 Leather & Lace event from Playboy. It was held on both Friday and Saturday, with each night a different set of hosts. Friday attendees were graced with the presence of Jenny McCarthy, Carmen Electra, and JWoww from Jersey Shore. We were busy on Friday with another event so we went Saturday and caught up with Hugh Hefner’s girls next door: Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson, and Bridget Marquardt.

The Boy Illinois is getting ready to release his forthcoming project Inhale Pt. 4: Horai tomorrow (you better download that shit) and we had the opportunity to hit the listening session this past Tuesday in the Foundation Room at the House of Blues Chicago. Over the 4th of July weekend tens of thousands of music lovers descended upon the Double JJ Ranch in Western Michigan for the Electric Forest Music Festival. The festival rose from the ashes of the Rothbury Festival that was held on the same site in 2008 and 2009 and Electric Forest had a tough act to follow.
Those who attended the past Rothbury events deemed the venue one of the best festival settings and many were disappointed when last year’s Rothbury was not held. This year long-running jam band The String Cheese Incident recreated the festival as theirs and headlined the final three nights. The lineup featured many well-known acts in the laid back style of SCI, but at night the intensity was turned up a notch with a slew of young electronic acts such as Bassnectar, Skrillex, and Pretty Lights.
The praise of the Double JJ Ranch by past attendees was rooted in reality and not a hallucinogenic mushroom experience. The site is truly a gorgeous place for this gathering. Follow us as we take you through our experience, starting things off with day 1, Tiesto.
