Jhene’s buzz is continuing to grow with features on Wale, Big Sean and J. Cole’s projects. In this newly released track, produced by No ID, “Comfort Inn Ending Pt. 2″ she lays out narrative filled with both honesty and sincerity. Not sure when she’s dropping another solo project, but the anticipation from fans is definitely reaching the boiling point.
Back in February, The Hics (South London sextet) had me playing “Lines” on repeat. It’s modern with lots of jazz influences, a hint of electro with brooding, rich R&B vocals. Their long awaited EP, Tangle, has been released and is now available at iTunes.
Fav track: “Lines”
He’s such an easy target these days, with his rather “soft” presence in our music world. This one’s for all the real Drake fans out there…me included.
Hey world. Just a quick club joint of Drakes “OVER” i made on the weekend. I called it “Closet Drake Fans” to co-incide with my Drake Pie Chart™, really. Play it out if you #feels. – Ta-ku
The Weeknd releases a feature with Drake that is on his upcoming album Kiss Land.
I think I’m warming up to this song. R. Kelly seems to fit right in on this track. There were talks of an official remix being done and then there was that vid of their “Ignition (1901 remix)” from Coachella back in April. I just have to know how they even got together in the first place to make this a go. Thoughts?
“I put myself on the line creatively every day because I need to as a human being. That’s what makes me happy, what makes me feel fulfilled, what keeps me sane.” – Miguel
Oh, that dashing Miguel visits Mr Porter and does a sweet acoustic performance of “How Many Drinks” cross edited with him in great pieces. What more can you ask for? Read and shop the store here at Mr Porter.

This is the best end-of-summer late night song to cruise to, speaking from personal experience, of course. Drake makes nice with this smooth track, no rap either (staying soft for the world) – even channeling Steve Winwood’s “Higher Love”. I even hear a lil’ Robin Thicke-esque qualities in either Drake or Majid’s voice towards the end. Also best used after an end-of-summer break-up or winding down from a long, eventful night. Now available on iTunes. Drake‘s elusive third LP, Nothing Was the Same is out September 17.
