Please not another ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ Remix…no, seriously producers, please no more. This may be the 20th one I’ve heard this week and I’ll admit I couldn’t have been less enthused when I first saw the title pop up in my browser. HOWEVER…TheFatRat is quickly becoming one of my favorite up and coming producers in the scene these days and this remix supplies a FAT dose of his signature Disco/Electro House flare. Download it for free off his Soundcloud and if you need more proof that this kid is the future check out what he did to Avicii’s “Levels”. Shwing.

Bus’ newest single just got a lot more “unf**ckwittable”–for lack of better words. Spicing up the Jugganauts produced “Why Stop Now”, the rap vet reintroduces his female counterpart Missy Elliott, while Lil Wayne tags along and spits some of that recycled formula, making for what seems as, well at least on paper, the illest trio to be reckoned with for…the moment.

Unfortunately, now that I’ve listened to this about two times fully, I’ve now come to the realization that this remix dragged a bit too long for my liking, but to each it’s own. The track is still buzzing chart-wise, although to me it’s losing it’s steam a little, so hopefully the accompanying star-studded visual that’s set to drop shortly will assist the Young Money representer’s Careless World album in due time. Propers to the good ol’ homie Splizzy.

This track originally appeared and lived on the Indiana rapper’s True Story, which spawned the hit “Tony Montana”, and for which was one of the Kang’s first verses upon his emancipation from the bing, as he jumped on the remix to this joint. The video is already in the can, and the mastered version has also surfaced. Audio swiped via HHNM‘s spot.
