The Capital Collection is a series of collaborations between DURKL and brands from other capital cities around the globe. The collection seeks to incorporate the individuality of each city while staying true to the street culture we all love. Joining forces with Canadian boutique Norml, DURKL produced the Capital Club package; a custom cedar box containing a rocking whiskey tumbler and Capital Club tee shirt. The limited edition Capital Club package is available beginning today at their online store and in Ottawa at Norml. More photos and a video after the jump. Read More
New York based lifestyle brand Amongst Friends, delivers with a solid line up for these summer months. While I myself was not too familiar with these guys, once I saw the drop, I had to do a bit of investigating. Truly impressed by their style, color combos, and detailing, I am now an avid supporter. So I must do my piece in obtaining the ultimate fulfillment of all things new, fresh, and glorious, and share it with you guys.
Featuring an array of items based around an ivy theme, virtually the only pieces I am not quite a fan of are the bucket hats. Just not my style, but hey, to each his own, right? All other pieces though, I would definitely rock. Not too flashy, but just the right amount of individuality. The goods are available now at select AF retailers, as well as their online store. So take a second to get familiar, and hit the jump to view the collection. Read More
As a special promotion for it’s Japan based Premier Card holders, Stussy will be offering them the “Original Stock Multi Camo” collaboration t-shirt with Bape. In addition, the lucky members of the Bape Gold Card holders will be offered the black version. Not a bad deal especially if you happen to have both companies special cards in your wallet. You’ll be able to pick these up starting June 30th.
Now this is nothing too spectacular and out of the ordinary from Crooks, featuring what is basically the Thank Me Later album cover; the majority reason this caught my attention was the footage connected to it. As everyone and their mother’s grandmother are aware of, hip-hop’s golden boy and next up to the throne, Drizzy Drake, debuted his premiere album yesterday. I know right, who knew? And while probably 60 – 75 percent of us downloaded it prior to its official release due to the majestical power of the internet, there is still no doubt that it was one of the more highly anticipated releases here lately and devout fans would still pick up a hard copy.
So Crooks & Castles, being the avid Drake supporters that they are, not only concocted this tee in honor of the album, but made a trip to their local Best Buy and scooped up the entire stock of Thank Me Later CDs. Now that’s love. That being said, stroll on over to Crooks’ website and snag the commemorative garb, and definitely check after the cut for the footage they put together of the “Best Buy Raid.” Read More
The DMV’s very own, DURKL, is set to embark on their first model of eyewear, the Main Event. So with the sun blaring down on your lids this summer, per usual, why not try something a little new and go with these inaugural frames by DURKL? The Main Event (I love that name by the way) is featured in a red or white colourway, with black accented frames and also obtains a unique saddle bridge, which provides extra comfort to all you extra boney nosed cats out there. These bad boys are available now at select DURKL retailers or more conveniently at their online store. Hit the jump for more. Read More
Lifestyle brand Crooks & Castles is gearing up for the release of their inaugural footwear line, and here we have a look at one of the models, the Redfoot. The drop is mostly characterized by that of mono-colored pieces with a simplistic, yet classy vibe. If the footwear line is anything like their original clothing aspects, it will in no way disappoint.
Debuting their commemorative time piece, Washington DC’s Commonwealth has decided to take it yet a step further than that of most wrist wear and produce a diver’s watch. Releasing in classic black and deep purple, the pieces are comprised of stainless steel and obtain a truly quality look. The watch is set to release this weekend, so keep an eye out on their website, as well as their retailers. Also while checking out the photos, be sure to take notice of the attention to detail with this product, as this is one of the ways smaller brands set themselves apart from the larger more commercial and mainstream competition. More looks after the jump.
“This classic early military influenced watch features a black face dial, with our “Anvil” logo top-center, and the quote, “TIME WILL TELL” bottom-center. This time piece will be available with both a purple and black C”MON nylon Nato band.”
