Earlier this month I posted the fresh new uniforms for the Men’s and Women’s National Soccer team. Just a few days ago, we got insight on how these are manufactured. Made with at least 96% recycled polyester, each jersey is made using an average of 7 plastic bottles, and each pair of shorts is uses an average of 6 plastic bottles—adding up to 13 plastic bottles per kit. This makes the 2012 National Team Kit the most environmentally-friendly ever. I’ve always been curious on how these were manufactured from recycled materials and here’s the answer.

Fine Cigars and Bourbon have always been a great pair and now you can enjoy a bourbon cigar from Marker’s Mark. Marker’s Mark Cigars range from $8-$11 and are a unique smoking experience. The long-leaf tobacco is grown in the Dominican Republic, and the bourbon is distilled from red wheat in the Kentucky countryside. The cigar is aromatically enhanced by Marker’s Mark Bourbon. Just like each bottle of Maker’s Mark, each cigar is sealed in a glass tube and then each tube is hand-dipped in Marker’s Mark signature red wax. Since each cigar is housed in an air-tight container, it doesn’t require humidification!

As of yesterday it’s been confirmed that Aaron Sorkin, of A Few Good Men, The Social Network and Moneyball fame, will write Sony’s Steve Jobs biopic.
Sorkin will adapt Steve Jobs, the biography written by Walter Isaacson, for the big screen. With his past track-record, were definitely looking forward to his new film. I’m going to go ahead and make the assumption that this film will be much much better than the one starring Ashton Kutcher. We’ll keep you updated on more information as it’s revealed.
