I have to admit, this song was nothing like what I was expecting. Off of Big Boi’s upcoming album Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty, the track does not disappoint at all. The production is on point and you can actually understand what Gucci is saying most of the time. Shouts to all my people in the A!
You know it was only a matter of time before Complex hit us with another one of their lists highlighting some of the best things to happen in the 2000s and this time it’s t-shirts. The list had to be one of the more tedious lists to compose – there’s a lot of t-shirts to cover in almost 10 years. Regardless, the list includes some of the hottest tees to grace our closets. Make sure you check it out at Complex.
Yet another track drops off of the Wyclef and DJ Drama tape From The Hut To The Projects To The Mansion which drops November 10th. If you haven’t listened to the previous tracks that have leaked make sure you check those out as well. Shouts to This Is Hustlin.
Dom Kennedy jumps off at Decos in San Diego for a pretty packed house. It’s no surprise though if you’ve been keeping up with this dude. If you didn’t check out his last mixtape Best After Bobby, make sure you do so. Support that good hip-hop and keep the garbage out.
GLC, John Legend & Man Man Create “Poor Another Drank” Produced By Arlo of TrailBlazerz MPC. My man John Legend came down to Atlanta to get it in & we did @ Patchwerk alongside the great Man Man aka Pootie Tang on the keys! Keezo Kane & Geno were also on board as we soared!
Sounds like it’s going to be a great track, but what else would you expect from GLC and Legend.
“I get you blunted off of funny home grown cause when I smoke out I hit the trees harder than Sonny Bono”
We’re going to start hitting you guys with some throwback joints on a weekly basis. This week we go back to the days when Eminem was actually good and rhymed about things other than celebrities and reality TV. Most of you should remember this song. It’s off of his debut album The Slim Shady LP. Ah, the good ol’ days…
